The highest temperature of zirconia crucible is 2200 degrees, is mainly used in melting metal, good thermal stability.
Zirconia crucible, owning high temperature stability,is an ideal high temperature refractory products for experiment.


Zirconium dioxide melting point is higher than zirconium, up to 2700 °C, is one of the best fireproof performance materials in the nature.Its thermal performance is poor, but the conductive ability and corrosion resistance are very strong, It won't have effect on molten metal, such as aluminum, iron, nickel, platinum, silicate and acid slag even if heated to 1900 degrees celsius.

 

Thus it can be used to create melting metal crucible, fireproof tube, heat resistant glass and heat resistant enamel, etc.
Adding zirconium dioxide into enamel and glass can make them to enhance the ability of resistance to acid, alkali corrosion.
